Attributing her success to her tenacious drive and natural ability to serve as a role model for her children, Reba Businky continues in her ninth year as president of the local Delmarva chapter of the National Association of Professional Women and adjunct professor at American Public University Systems. Her professional goal is to move from the corporate world into the education world working as an adjunct faculty member while pursuing a Ph.D. in industrial and organizational psychology. Ms. Businsky’s next goal is to complete a dissertation and find more universities where she can work online as an adjunct professor while pursuing a full time faculty position at a local college and/or university.
Initially, Ms. Businsky became involved in her profession after working as a staffing agent for Robert Half and gaining experience in accounts receivable at the United Parcel Service of America, Inc. In 2008, she completed two Master of Science degrees in transportation and logistics, and in human resources management, both from Wilminton University. She has since become a professional expert in employee relations, training and development, and supply chain solutions. In five years, Ms. Businsky hopes to become an online college professor and help more people.
Prior to becoming a full-time student, Ms. Businsky worked for Harford Community College as an adjunct faculty member. Since graduation, she keeps up with her profession’s changes through her memberships with the American Psychological Association, Society of Emotional Intelligence, National Society of Human Resource Management, and Society of Industrial Organizational Psychology.
